Der Verein «Hilfe für Nyeri» wurde Anfang 2008 in Köln gegründet. Großartige Vorarbeit wurde von dem Entwicklungshelfer Dirk Stein durch das Projekt «Karatina Kids» für Straßenkinder in Karatina und Nyeri geleistet. Unsere Arbeit zeichnet sich in erster Linie durch eine schnelle und direkte Hilfe aus. Dabei profitieren wir von unserer Partnerin vor Ort Elizabeth Wanjiru Mungai (Shiro), so dass jede Spende auf direktem Weg und völlig unbürokratisch dort ankommt, wo Hilfe benötigt wird.

Praise

Praise is Fridah’s son, a determined and hardworking boy whose dedication to his studies has paid off. He recently completed his final primary school examinations and passed very well, just like his brother Victory. His outstanding performance has earned him a precious opportunity to join a National Secondary school, a chance that could completely change the course of his life. Sadly, this hangs in the balance because his mother cannot afford the school fees. With humility and great hope, Praise is reaching out to the HFN Donors and Members to kindly support him. The annual school fees are Ksh.65,000 and your support would mean giving Praise not just an education but hope for a better future.

I would like share a brief update regarding Praise. He successfully reported to school yesterday and he was extremely happy and grateful to HFN Donors and Members for paying his school fees. The support has given him a wonderful opportunity to continue with his education and it truly means a lot to him and his family.
